Climate Survey for LGBTQIA+ Academics in Psychology and Neuroscience

Run by members of the ALBA Gender & Sexual Diversity working group, this research study seeks to assess the experience of people who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, or asexual (LGBTQIA+) who study or work in neuroscience (including psychology, neurobiology, psychiatry, neurology and related fields) at academic institutions. The survey is open to people at all ranks from any country (except for countries which are sanctioned by the Office of Foreign Assets Control of the US Department of the Treasury).

You are eligible to participate in this study if you are at least 18 years of age or older, identify as LGBTQIA+, study/work in neuroscience at an academic institution, and are fluent in English.

You will be asked to complete an anonymous survey online, including questions about your experience. The survey takes ~10-20 minutes to complete.

Participants may provide their e-mail address to enter a randomized drawing for a 50 € (~$45) gift card, supported by the ALBA Network. Other than this, there is no anticipated direct benefit.

The study was approved by the Institutional Review Board at the University of California, Irvine.
