I noticed that there is not a lot of awareness for diversity and inclusion issues in the German academic system yet. Thus, I would like to join Alba to learn how to increase visibility of scientists that belong to under repsented groups in the German neuroscience community, to raise awareness for their struggles and obstacles, and to be a helpful ally.

I firmly believe and support initiatives for equity and inclusion. Alba network has already represented a strong leadership in advocating for under represented groups in neuroscience. I also have been recently benefited from one of ALBA's action.
